Overview

The District Sales Manager is the main contact between the dealer network and Suzuki Canada for all sales matters in their designated district of British Columbia and Alberta. Accounts and regions will be balanced from time to time among sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage dealer activity within a specified territory through daily interaction with Suzuki dealerships

• Manage the implementation of SCI-sponsored programs within the district to achieve assigned goals

• Present front-line representation of corporate goals, policies and procedures to enhance the dealer performance, market penetration and brand image of Suzuki.

• Establish and monitor the sales Booking target for all assigned product lines

• Manage the monthly product allocation and reconciliation of accounts

• Manage the monthly co-op allocation and reconciliation

• Provide or coordinate Suzuki Product training

• Coordinate and attend corporate consumer shows to support retail sales and consumer awareness

We are seeking candidates who provide the following expertise and competencies:

• Graduate of a business or marketing program from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• Minimum 5 years of business to business sales experience
• Knowledge of Suzuki product and competitive product knowledge an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Demonstrated expertise in time management and organizational skills
• A valid Ontario driver’s license is a job requirement and is vital to perform job functions
• Ability to travel 4 days a week in assigned territory with overnight stays required

Overview

This position is responsible for all aspects of network administration including servers, desktop workstations, communications, and security and ensures that network performance meets company and user requirements. In addition this position will be the primary contact for all IT related user issues.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

This position reports to the Manager of the IT department, and will interact with associates at all levels of the company on a regular basis.

NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position will provide a critical role in the on-going monitoring and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure.

In addition to interacting with all SCI associates both on-site at Barrie Office or remotely via the appropriate IT support tools available.

REPORTING

Responsibilities

  • Maintain network servers, workstations, and hardware.
  • Manage and configure virtual servers with VMware.
  • Manage network server tape backups.
  • Perform software installation and upgrades.
  • Ensure software licensing compliance.
  • Manage network user and e-mail accounts for 100 to 150 users.
  • SQL Server database administration.
  • Configure firewalls and routers.
  • Manage network security for login authentication, VPN connections, and file permissions.
  • Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor network performance and error logs.
  • Troubleshoot network and Internet connections, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
  • Provide PC support and troubleshooting.
  • Provide Suzuki HUB user support and troubleshooting.
  • Provide training and instruction for users on operating systems and applications.
  • Provide support and assistance with Microsoft Office products.
  • Document network systems and procedures.

We are seeking candidates who provide the following expertise and competencies:

The preferred candidate will have a minimum of a college degree in an information technology related field, supplemented with the following IT certifications: Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE); Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA).

Good communication and problem solving skills required.

Experience will include over 3 years as a hands-on administrator in a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current technologies. This position will require periodic evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.
