Shaped by the wind

Hayabusa… Famed for its abundant power, agility and majestic presence. Legendary for establishing new levels of ultimate sport performance, and for retaining the number one position for the past two decades in the class it created. The 2022 Hayabusa delivers an even smoother ride and nimbler handling via reimagined electronic systems that optimize performance making it more controllable, predictable, and reliable.

Like its namesake, the Japanese peregrine falcon, the Hayabusa earns its position as the fastest, most agile predator in the wild.

Poised and ready to fly

The sleek, aerodynamic silhouette is unmistakably that of the Hayabusa. But the modern look of its styling and luxurious attention to the finest details say it’s a whole lot more. The new Hayabusa’s long, low stance screams of the power, performance, poise and keen perceptive abilities possessed by a bird of prey.

Legendary power and reliability

Refinements implemented throughout the Hayabusa’s legendary 1,340cm3 liquid-cooled inline-four engine achieve an even better balance of overall performance, yet greater efficiency and durability, while also satisfying Euro 5 emissions standards. A symbol of engineering pride and prowess, it is built to deliver the ultimate riding experience for the long run.

Superior core strength

The Hayabusa’s chassis is designed to empower you with sure footing, nimble handling and predictable control that combine to build confidence and enhance the riding experience. It delivers a smooth and comfortable ride that absorbs irregularities in the road surface and responds faithfully to your will, whether barreling down a straight section of road or leaning through corners.

The beauty of fine instrumentation

Riders love the familiar layout and outstanding functionality of the Hayabusa’s instrument cluster. Bigger, bolder numbering on the analog tach and speedometer improve readability, and the new TFT LCD panel includes real-time display of the lean angle (with peak-hold function), front and rear brake pressure, rate of acceleration, and throttle position.

Optimum durability

Though the engine is already renowned for its durability and longevity, the following refinements aim to take it to another level. New pistons and connecting rods reduce the weight of moving parts within the engine. Changes to the crankshaft oil passages improve engine lubrication. Attention to detail goes as far as changing the way the engine case bolts are tightened.

Suzuki Intelligent Ride System

3 mode settings let you control the engine speed at launch.

A first in the motorcycle world. Set the speed you don’t want to exceed.

Convenience of cruise control for those longer rides.

Enhanced control by allowing ABS activation when leaning in a corner.

Monitors your posture and angle to help prevent rear wheel lift.

Helps to ensure a smoother restart free from the worries your bike will roll backward.

Unrivalled Hayabusa Technology

Suzuki drive mode selector alpha featuring a selection of 3 factory preset and 3 user definable modes groups together five advanced electronic control systems to enable riders to select individual settings.

Select from 3 different engine modes that control delivery to match road and riding conditions.

Prevent wheel lift on take-off, with 10 selectable levels of control.

Set your preferred mode to shift up or down quickly and easily without having to operate the clutch or throttle.

Choose from 3 levels of braking for a smoother, more controllable braking behaviour to match your riding level or conditions.

Monitors the amount of lean angle to effectively limit slip in corners and on straightaways through 10 selectable modes. Ride with confidence in varying conditions.

A 6-axis Bosch IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) combines accelerometers and gyroscopes in a single compact package that constantly monitors pitch roll and yaw to keep Hayabusa aware of its situation at all times for better handling.
