Présentation
This position’s main function is to ensure SCI’s Credit risk is minimized through the effective management of dealer credit risk analysis in combination with the administration of product release through the various financial institutions.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
This position reports to the Controller within the Finance Department and has no direct reports.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position is responsible for managing the credit status of the dealers in our dealer network to analyze and identify minimize the level of risk for Suzuki Canada Inc. This position will ensure proper analysis of SCI customers’ financial health and taking the required steps to ensure proper security is registered. The position will also serve as the primary liaison between SCI and the various wholesale finance institutions in order to obtain credit approvals for product release. Additional responsibilities will include the collection of delinquent and terminated dealer accounts; processing of parts orders requiring credit approval; maintenance of various credit and business management databases; administration of dealer composite; and preparation of various departmental reports. This position will bring to management’s attention through regular reporting and as needed any changes or possible negative impacts to SCI.

CREDIT ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyse Customer Financial Statements & Other Required Documents

- Determine credit worthiness of customers
- Register security, Inventory, GSA, LOC etc.
- Annual docket review and financial statement analysis
- Annual Bad Debt Reserve Determination
- Annual credit limit review and/or as necessary
- Renewals of Security Filings & Letters of Credit

CREDIT/COLLECTION RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate with wholesale finance companies:
- Obtain credit approval for unit orders (online, fax, telephone)
- Release all units that have been approved
- Ascertain reasons for declined approvals and attempt to resolve problems and out-of-line conditions by communicating with Suzuki marketing, sales and logistics department personnel
- Produce daily report of outstanding unit orders and e-mail to all concerned individuals.
- Process requests for bulk approval.
Responsible for collection of all overdue accounts through telephone and written contact with dealers in situations where the Credit & Collections Representative requires additional support by:
- Initiating demand letters as warranted.
- Processing bankruptcy claims and any supporting documentation.
Maintenance of credit-related databases:
- SCA credit master file – update finance & other credit information
- Update Unix system refinance companies
- Wholesale finance bulk approval file
- Credit monitoring system
New Dealer Set Up/Dealer Termination:
- Respond to all incoming credit reference inquiries.
Business Management
- Co-ordinate the delivery of information to Performance Incorporated to support the monthly Dealer Composite program.
- Generate reports as required.
General Duties

Based out of the Suzuki Canada Inc. (SCI) Head Office, the Dealer Representative – Parts provides support for all Dealer Parts and Accessories inquiries by phone and email. They will provide backup to the Customer Service Department as needed. The employee will be bilingual (French/English) to provide coverage to dealerships across Canada.

LOCATION
This position is located at our Barrie, Ontario corporate office on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 5 days per week.

NATURE AND SCOPE
The incumbent is required to have an exceptional ability to multitask and remain in control of simultaneous situations and/or projects. Tact, diplomacy and strong communication skills are also essential to properly interact with different levels of the organization.
Demonstrated organizational, time management and administrative skills are required. An ability to prioritize multiple tasks and an attention to accuracy is vital. Présentation
The District Sales Manager is the main contact between the dealer network and Suzuki Canada for all sales matters.
STRUCTURE
This position reports directly to the National Sales Manager of Motorcycle, and ATV. The position works closely with the Dealer network on all sales and marketing issues related to the sales of Suzuki products in the Canadian marketplace. The position has direct interaction with the following departments- marketing, distribution, product planning, accounting and on an as needed basis to the customer service, parts, service and IT departments.
Responsabilités
- Manage the dealer activity within a specified territory through daily interaction with Suzuki dealers and dealership personnel.
- Act as a consultant to the dealers to increase dealer commitment to the Suzuki franchise and implement strategies to maximize the retail and wholesale of Suzuki products.
- Advise national staff of ongoing activities, inquiries or problems within the district.
- Inform national management of competitive activities within the district.
- Manage the implementation of SCI sponsored programs within the district to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
