Présentation

This position will be responsible to aid in implementing strategic and tactical positioning for the Company’s Motorcycle, ATV and Outboard products. This position will be responsible to develop and drive communications activities to the dealer network, and consumer base through various media channels in order to increase sales activities and meet the company’s objectives. This position will develop, create, monitor, and analyze Suzuki Canada’s social media communications to ensure SCI is providing an effective medium for prospective and existing customers.

The position reports directly to the President/Director of Marketing. This position will be responsible to oversee various department projects and the completion of tasks by other team members. This position works closely with SCI’s dealer network and third-party vendors relating to various communication strategies.

Responsabilités

This incumbent will be a key contributor in the design and implementation of various programs and strategies to help grow the Motorcycle, ATV, and Marine business.

  • Work with Senior Management, to develop and implement national marketing and advertising programs, manage regional and local advertising plans and co-op budgets.
  • Recommend, to Senior Management, strategies to build the recreational products Brand while increasing retail traffic to SCI dealers.
  • Recommend and manage all promotions, events and sponsorships
  • Provide recommendations and participate in the improvement of sales and marketing promotional materials, when required.
  • Communicate, through various communications platforms, all national promotions, events and sponsorships
  • Manage website, media site and Social Media content and the user’s experience on these sites by maintaining accuracies of product content and retail offers.
  • Responsible to review all product content for all forms of communication to dealers and customers.
  • Create product related sales and marketing materials
  • Oversee activities with media representatives and other public contacts in order to build the Brand awareness through third party publications to leverage these publications to SCI’s social media sites to help drive on-line customer activity.
  • Post-activity reporting on the overall effectiveness of the various marketing initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned

Nous recherchons des candidats qui possèdent l’expertise et les compétences suivantes:

  • University Degree or College Diploma with a Marketing or Communications emphasis.
  • Minimum 15 years of related work experience; recreational products industry would be a definite asset.
  • Experience with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Radian 6.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to identify, understand and effectively communicate change opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build and manage key internal and external relationships.
  • Must be intrinsically motivated and take initiative in order to reach position objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and be a strong team player.
