Présentation

The DPSM communicates with all levels of assigned dealership operations – Dealer Principal,
Accountant, Service Technician, to ensure an efficient and profitable operation to achieve agreed
Parts & Accessories sales levels.

They also act as a technical or training resource to the dealership as well as acting as a mediator
in resolving Customer Relations issues.

Responsabilités

1.     Review dealership activities on a continuous and ongoing basis, through regularly
scheduled visits to the dealership locations, as well as through frequent telephone
and email communication. Provide concise written reports on a timely basis to Head
Office, detailing the major objectives of each visit, issues discussed and reviewed with
dealer staff, actions taken during the visit as well as documenting any follow up
actions deemed necessary, either on the part of SCI or the dealer. The DPSM must
document and discuss with dealer staff, including the dealer principal, any dealership
objectives which the DPSM deems necessary to ensure efficient and profitable
dealership operations.

2.     Identify specific technical problems, which may be encountered in the field. Research
and prepare concise written technical reports regarding these problems, ensuring all
relevant and verified information is included. Submit these reports to Head Office on
a timely basis.

3.     The DPSM must assist each dealer to establish and maintain efficient warranty
administration procedures within the dealership as per the requirements and
guidelines set out in the Company Automotive Warranty Policy and Procedures Guide.

4.     The DPSM plays a key role in expediting a resolution of customer relation’s issues
through direct lines of communication with both dealer and customer, as may be
necessary, information provided by the DPSM, following the investigation and review
of the matter, forms the basis for final disposition of the file.

5.     The DPSM maintains a constant review of dealership parts and accessory operations
including the following:
i. Assist in developing targets for parts and accessory purchases and
explains these targets to the dealers
ii. Monitor and advise the dealer of parts and accessory sales target
achievements on a regular basis
iii. Assist in the development of efficient parts operations systems including
inventory control and ordering procedures as well as providing advise in
merchandising and sales techniques
iv. Explain special promotional programs and solicits dealer orders
v. Monitor dealer inventory – value, jobber parts penetration, quality of
inventory, etc. and provide advise
vi. Solicit information regarding competitive products, pricing, programs, etc.
vii. Ensure dealer staff have a complete understanding of SCI parts and
accessory policies

6.     Prospective Dealer Visit responsibilities include:
i. Inspect and review prospective dealer operations to determine if applicant
exceeds minimum Suzuki requirements
ii. Complete and explain contents of the New Dealer Set Up Document at the
time of the prospective dealer visit
iii. Prepare suitable initial Parts and Accessory orders which meet the New
Dealer Set Up requirements

7.     New Dealer Set Up responsibilities include:
i. Explain the Company service, warranty, parts and accessory policies and
procedures to dealer staff
ii. Ensure New Dealer Set Up materials have been received by the dealer and
are properly distributed and organized within the dealership
b. Provide advice and assistance in establishing effective parts and service
operations
c. Warranty labour rate review including competitive survey in market area

8.     Represent the Company at Regional Customer Promotion Events & Special Deale Events
i. Ensure products are properly prepared for show
ii. Co-ordinate show set up with Dealer staff as needed
iii. Assist dealers in the preparation and staffing of open house/grand
openings or other special events that the dealer may organize from time
to time along with the assigned Suzuki DSM – for all product lines

9.     Provide continuous and ongoing training as may be necessary including the following:
i. Conduct New Model Update technical training seminars
ii. Conduct Warranty Seminars
iii. Provide Suzuki business system training and advise as required.
iv. Provide technical advise and procedural information as requested from
time to time by dealer staff

Minimum 3 years Motorcycle/ATV/Marine Technician experience or equivalent
Proficient in Excel, Access (Database applications), Power Point and all Microsoft applications
Frequent travel required to visit dealerships and attend dealer/consumer events 3-4 days a week
Available to work weekends to support dealership events
Able to set up secure home office
Able to park company vehicle at home office
Current Valid Driver’s License

Suzuki Canada is currently filling a position within our organization, based in Barrie Ontario to focus on our Product Compliance responsibilities for products we sell within Canada and to oversee and update our  internal programs to ensure we comply with all Provincial Stewardship requirements.

Responsabilités

• Research, Preparation, Coordination and filing of Government Reports regarding Emissions, Safety, Recalls, Fuel Consumption and Greenhouse Gas related initiatives for Motor Vehicle, Recreational and Marine Products
• Strategic initiative development as it relates to Certification plans for all distributed products
• Liaison with Federal Officials concerning Defect Investigations
• Liaison with Federal Officials concerning Crash Investigations
• Liaison and negotiation with Federal Officials over Safety and Emissions Recalls and other related submissions
• Attend Technical, Government Policy, Legal, Stewardship & Consumer Affairs meetings as they relate to Legislative activities for all Suzuki Products. (in person or via conference calls)
• Reporting and Response flowing from off-site meetings to Management as required.
• Review and reporting of Federal and Provincial Regulations in draft and final stages of development
• Liaison with Corporate Head Office engineering staff on regulatory developments and certification issues
• Review all legal claims, file required responses (small claims)
• Main contact for outside legal counsel in regards to personal liability cases and responsible to gather all documentation
• Represent SCI in legal proceedings where required
• Ensure that all required compliance information has been received
• Obtain all necessary approvals for creation of model masters
• Maintain list of all model master created, including current location.
• Maintain accurate historical records of compliance.

The District Sales Manager is the main contact between the dealer network and Suzuki Canada for all sales
matters in their designated district of Ontario & Manitoba. Accounts and regions will be balanced from
time to time among sales teams.

This position is scheduled Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

As a member of the Suzuki Information Technology Team your will be creating new applications (web
and desktop), maintain current applications and migrate older platforms/databases to newer
platforms. This will ensure that we eliminate all redundancies with our current systems and
processes. It will also ensure that we are ready to face new challenges while giving us the
opportunity to innovate and implement more efficient solutions.

Responsabilités

• Software development to support head office initiatives.
o Create and maintain divisional sales applications using C#, ASP .NET, VB .NET, PowerBI
and Microsoft Access.
o Reporting for wholesale/retail sales, trading dollars, salesperson incentive, etc.
o Maintain specifications and user documentation.
o Work with and convert existing legacy databases (.db &.db2) to SQL
• Provide support and troubleshooting for internal Suzuki applications such as eCentre,
SuzukiVision, SuzukiHUB, SuzukiMedia, VTS, Intranet, Business Central, and PowerApps platform
etc.
o Assist users with issues relating to software and websites.
o Microsoft Office support and troubleshooting.
• Head office username administration for SuzukiHUB/Media
o Setup and maintain usernames and permissions.
• General Helpdesk level support for all associates.

• College or University degree in Information Technology
• 3-5 years’ of related work experience
• Microsoft BI technologies (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
• Extensive knowledge of various programming language mainly C#, ASP .NET, VB .NET, Microsoft AL
JavaScript (preferred), PHP (preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server and Visual Studio
• SQL statements and stored procedures
