Although the V-Strom’s power comes from this impressive engine, Yoshimura aimed to enhance its performance, reduce weight, and improve its sound. Mission accomplished!

The new Suzuki responded perfectly to Yoshimura’s upgrades. Yoshimura selected the Street Series R-77 with a durable Works Finish and an all-new powder-coated aluminum heat shield. The goal was to fine-tune the V-twin engine’s power. Yoshimura’s R-77 slip-on not only reduced weight by 4.5 pounds, but it also gave the updated 1050 engine the powerful V-twin sound it deserves.
