V-Strom 800DE Yoshimura RS-12 ADV Stainless Slip-On Exhaust

Suzuki’s V-Strom 800DE introduces a brand new mid-size parallel twin platform to the adventure market, featuring a 776cc 270-degree crankshaft engine.

Yoshimura utilized the RS-12 ADV muffler to develop a Street Series Works Finish slip-on for the new Suzuki. This not only provides a nice tone for the new engine platform but also helps eliminate some weight and gives the V-Strom more power and torque for off-road excursions. The RS-12 ADV is specifically designed, engineered, and developed by Yoshimura to tackle the rough trails of adventure riding. Spark arrestor sold separately.

The new V-Strom responded impressively to Yoshimura’s RS-12 ADV, giving the Suzuki a shot in the arm with a 1.7% increase in HP and 1.6% increase in torque.

But Yoshimura didn’t stop there! The new V-Strom comes with a custom-made, proprietary carbon fiber heat shield to protect against heat from the tailpipe and give the bike a truly one-of-a-kind look. The RS-12 ADV also sheds some weight, reducing 4.5 lbs. from stock. Now that’s something noteworthy!
