Contest Start Date: August 18, 2025
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
1. SPONSOR AND ADMINISTRATOR
The Chance at Banff Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Suzuki Canada Inc. (“SCI” or the “Sponsor”), located at 360 Saunders Road, Barrie, Ontario, L4N 9Y2.
2. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on Monday, August 18, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on October 31, 2025 (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be received or postmarked during the Contest Period to be eligible.
3. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who reside in one of the ten (10) provinces and have reached the age of nineteen (19) or older at the time of entry.
Exclusions:
- Residents of Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut are not eligible.
- Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, child) or household members of the Sponsor, authorized Suzuki dealerships, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not eligible.
- Online purchases, including purchases made through third-party e-commerce platforms or directly through Suzuki Canada’s website, are not eligible for entry into this Contest.
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
For clarity, the exclusions in this Section do not apply to the dealer prize described in Section 5A, which is awarded to the Winning Dealer and may be designated to an eligible individual in accordance with Section 5A.
4. HOW TO ENTER
a) Purchase-Based Entry
- Earn one (1) entry by completing any of the following at a participating authorized Suzuki motorcycle or ATV dealer:
- Service or repair visit with a customer-pay invoice that includes the purchase or use of at least one (1) OEM Suzuki Genuine Part (SGP), accessory, or Ecstar product. For clarity, eligible OEM SGP parts, accessories, or Ecstar products must be for Suzuki motorcycles or ATVs only. Purchases of parts or accessories for other Suzuki product lines (e.g., outboard motors) are not eligible. Each qualifying transaction constitutes one (1) separate entry, and entrants may earn multiple entries during the Contest Period, provided each entry is tied to a separate qualifying transaction. To validate an entry, the OEM part number and description must be clearly visible on the customer invoice from the participating dealer; or
- Over-the-counter purchase of at least one (1) OEM SGP part, accessory, or Ecstar product for a Suzuki motorcycle or ATV.
- Online purchases are not eligible.
- Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is required to validate entry.
b) No Purchase Necessary (NPN) Mail-In Entry
To enter without making a purchase;
Submit a legible, handwritten letter containing:
- Full name
- Complete mailing address
- Phone number
- Email address (optional)
- A 50-word handwritten statement on “Why I choose Suzuki”

Each NPN entry must be in a separate envelope. Limit one (1) entry per envelope. No photocopies or mechanically reproduced entries allowed. Entries must be postmarked by October 31, 2025 and received by November 7, 2025.
c) Submission Methods
Purchase-based entrants may enter:
• By completing a tear-off form provided at the dealer; or
• By scanning the QR code located at the parts or service counter and completing the online entry form.
All entries are subject to verification. Incomplete, late, or fraudulent entries will be automatically disqualified and have no right to a prize. Parts and accessories must be for Suzuki motorcycles or ATVs only. OEM part number and description must appear on the customer invoice.
e) Entry Limits
Entries must be submitted by the entrant only. Automated, bulk, or third-party entries are prohibited and will result in disqualification. Any entrant who, in the Sponsor’s sole opinion, uses multiple names, email addresses, identities, or automated methods to enter, or otherwise participates in a manner not in keeping with the letter and spirit of these Rules, will be disqualified.
5. PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV)
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded, consisting of:
– Round-trip economy-class airfare for two (2) from the winner’s nearest major Canadian airport to Calgary International Airport (YYC);
– Shuttle transportation to and from Calgary airport and Banff hotel;
– Four (4) nights’ accommodations in a standard hotel room in Banff, Alberta.
ARV: $4,000 CAD
Prize Conditions:
- Travel must be booked within six (6) months of prize notification, subject to blackout dates and availability. Actual travel may occur within twelve (12) months of booking.
- All travel arrangements must be made exclusively through the Sponsor’s designated travel agent.
- Prize must be taken as a single continuous booking and may not be split into separate trips.
- Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-salable and must be accepted as awarded. The prize, or any portion thereof, may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any form of promotional or trade purposes.
- No credit or cash will be provided for any unused portion of the prize.
- The winner is solely responsible for any taxes, fees, or other charges that may be applicable to the prize, if any.
- Incidental expenses (meals, insurance, gratuities, personal expenses, etc.) are the sole responsibility of the winner and guest.
- The guest must be a legal resident of Canada and meet all travel requirements.
- All travel is subject to the terms, conditions, and policies of third-party providers (airlines, hotels, transport companies). Additional conditions from these providers may apply and are the sole responsibility of the winner and guest to review and comply with.
- Upon booking, execution of all travel services becomes the sole responsibility of the third-party providers.
- Once issued, travel documents and/or vouchers are the sole responsibility of the winner and guest and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, or unused.
- Travel dates are subject to supplier availability, and the Sponsor does not guarantee specific departure or return dates until booking is confirmed.
- The Sponsor is not responsible for any delay, postponement, or cancellation of any portion of the prize due to weather, travel restrictions, strike, acts of God, terrorism, or other causes beyond its control.
5A. DEALER PRIZE
In addition to the Grand Prize awarded to the winning entrant, the authorized Suzuki dealer that facilitated the winning entrant’s eligible service or repair visit (the “Winning Dealer”) will also be awarded the same Grand Prize trip package as described in Section 5 (ARV: $4,000 CAD).
Dealer Prize Conditions:
- The Winning Dealer and the designated individual receiving the prize must both be registered in Suzuki Hub at the time the qualifying transaction or service occurred to be eligible for the dealer prize.
- All authorized Suzuki motorcycle and ATV dealerships are already registered in Suzuki Hub; however, the Dealer Designee must have been registered in Suzuki Hub as of the date of the qualifying transaction in order to be eligible to receive the dealer prize.
- The Winning Dealer may designate one (1) individual (the “Dealer Designee”) to receive and use the dealer prize. The Dealer Designee must be a legal resident of Canada, age 19 or older, and able to travel as required. The Dealer Designee may be an owner, employee, or other person selected by the Winning Dealer’s management.
- Travel must be booked within six (6) months of dealer prize notification, subject to blackout dates and availability. Actual travel may occur within twelve (12) months of booking.
- The dealer prize is subject to the same travel terms, blackout dates, and conditions outlined in Section 5.
- All travel arrangements must be made exclusively through the Sponsor’s designated travel agent.
- The dealer prize will be awarded only after verification of the Winning Dealer’s eligibility.
- The Dealer Designee also agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activities, which may include providing photographs and/or video footage from the trip, for use by the Sponsor in advertising and promotional materials.
6. DRAW PROCEDURE AND ODDS OF WINNING
A random draw will be held on or around November 15, 2025 at the Sponsor’s offices in Barrie, Ontario from all eligible entries received.
Upon selection and verification of the winning entrant, the Winning Dealer will also be identified and awarded the dealer prize described in Section 5A. Both prizes will be subject to the same booking and travel conditions outlined in Section 5.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION
An entrant is not a winner of any prize, even if notified as a potential winner, until the entrant’s eligibility has been verified and prize arrangements have been confirmed by the Sponsor.
The selected entrant will be contacted via email or telephone within three (3) business days of the draw.
To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must:
- Respond within three (3) business days of notification;
- Correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance;
- Provide government-issued photo ID to confirm age and residency;
- Sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Publicity Release, and Travel Liability Waiver by the stated deadline.
The Sponsor reserves the right, at any time, to require proof of identity, eligibility, and compliance with these Rules, in a form acceptable to the Sponsor. Failure to provide such proof within the time specified may result in disqualification.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS
- The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, late, tampered with, or non-compliant with these Rules.
- Any attempt to participate or obtain a prize through fraudulent, automated, or unfair means, including computer hacking or multiple identities, will be disqualified and may be subject to prosecution.
- Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- The Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest or substitute a prize (of equal or greater value) for any reason, including fraud, technical failures, pandemics, natural disasters, strikes, or other events beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
By entering, entrants release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any liability for:
- Injury, illness, accident, death, or property damage arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of the prize;
- Delays, cancellations, overbooking, lost luggage, or other travel-related issues;
- Technical, hardware, or software failures, lost network connections, incomplete transmissions, or any damage caused by downloading contest materials or submitting entries online;
- Dissatisfaction with any portion of the prize, including services provided by third-party suppliers.
The Sponsor makes no warranty, guaranty, or representation of any kind concerning the prize, its travel components, or third-party services, and disclaims all implied warranties.
The winner and guest acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks, including injury, illness, property damage, and death, and voluntarily assume all such risks associated with participation in any prize-related activities.
The winner and guest must sign a Travel Liability Waiver before travel arrangements are confirmed.
10. CONTENT RIGHTS
By entering, entrants grant the Sponsor and its agencies a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and display their entry (including any statements or creative content submitted) in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed, for advertising, promotional, or other purposes without further compensation. Entrants waive all moral rights in such content.
11. PRIVACY
Personal information will be used solely for Contest administration in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (available at: https://www.suzuki.ca/en/privacy-policy) and will not be used for other purposes without consent.
12. PUBLICITY RELEASE
By accepting the prize, the winner authorizes the Sponsor and its prize suppliers to use their name, city/province of residence, likeness, voice, and statements for promotional purposes worldwide, in any media, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner and their guest agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities, which may include providing photographs and/or video footage from the trip. The winner and guest grant the Sponsor the right to use such photographs and/or video footage, in whole or in part, in any media now known or hereafter developed, for advertising, promotional, and other purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
13. SHORT-FORM ADVERTISING
From time to time during the Contest Period, the Sponsor may advertise or promote the Contest using short-form contest disclosures, including but not limited to point-of-purchase materials, in-dealer signage, digital advertisements, social media posts, email communications, or other marketing formats (“Short-Form Advertising”). These condensed versions are for promotional purposes only and are intended to summarize certain key aspects of the Contest. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between any statement contained in any Short-Form Advertising and anything contained in these Official Rules, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail to the extent permitted by law.
14. SOCIAL MEDIA DISCLAIMER
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform on which the Contest may be promoted (each, a “Social Platform”). By entering, each entrant completely releases the Social Platforms from any and all liability arising from or related to the Contest. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to the Sponsor and not to any Social Platform.
15. QUEBEC RESIDENTS
For residents of Quebec: Any dispute respecting the organization or conduct of this Contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any dispute respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement
16. GOVERNING LAW & PRECEDENCE
The Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English version of these Rules and any translated or other versions, the English version shall prevail to the extent permitted by law.
